Official Chobots Rules

Advertising: You are not allowed to share links unless it is for a Chobots blog. If you are sharing your Chobots blog URL, you cannot say your link more than twice in a row. Saying it more than two times in a row will be considered to be spamming and is not allowed. Also, please try to say your blog without having the screen filled up by your advertisement.

Bad Language: Bad language is not allowed. It you wouldn't say it in front of your Mom, Dad or teacher then you shouldn't say it on Chobots. If you are caught saying bad words you will have your chat disabled for 5-15 minutes or may be kicked out. Using bad language can also lead to a ban, so don't do it. Please be respectful of other Chobots and use kind words with talking to one another.

Charities: We think it’s great that you are trying to help out each other on Chobots, but if you're going to give out gifts please do not ask for donations. Please do not feel like you have to give gifts - no one can be 'poor' on Chobots since everyone can work hard and earn money.

Begging: Please don’t beg/ask for clothes. If you have a glitch on your account that is causing you not to be able to earn money please email support@chobots.com, or send an admin message so it can be fixed. Otherwise, work hard to earn money because it is annoying to have to deal with a lot of messages a day asking for clothing. If you are caught begging you may be kicked out or have your chat disabled for 5-15 minutes.

No Dating: Chobots is not meant for online dating, so please do it somewhere else.

Scamming: Of course, scamming is not allowed. An example of scamming is when someone says "if you give me a smiley shirt, I will give you my shoes" even though the player has no intentions of giving away a pair shoes. The other player says yes and gives away their smiley shirt but never gets the pair of shoes in return. Scamming is also saying something like "the first person to give me a gift will get a gift" because that is just tricking people into thinking they are first. Scamming can lead to a ban, so please don't do this.

Asking to be an Agent / Moderator: Please DO NOT ask to be an Agent or Moderator because it will lower your chances of becoming one. Do you want to know how to become an Agent? Then read the official Chobots blog to find out how. If you do good then Mods can make you agent.

Become An Agent - Some Tips

Hey Guys :)

This is just my personal guide to some things you can do if you are interested in becoming an Agent of Chobots.

Firstly your Chobot should be well established in the Chobot community, ie, don't expect to become an Agent after just a few weeks of playing as you will need to prove your worth and this takes some time, personally I think over 100 days at least.

Some things to do, to show your interest is.......

Make a Chobots blog that you regularly post on, it shows commitment, if you're interested in the game and the community then you will find this a fun thing to do.
An obvious thing is to follow the rules yourself at all times!
Take part in things that are happening in Chobots, parties, blog contests etc.
Learn the game well, know how things work, how to earn bugs, how the games are played etc.
Look smart!!
Help people who ask for help, standing around constantly saying "who needs help" is actually more annoying then helpful I think, even worse and you stick out like a sore thumb, is if you start spouting this as soon as a Mod is about^^
Be nice, be kind, be patient and be friendly, some players are very young and need that extra little bit of help and understanding with some things.

Doing these things will help you become well known in the community and your name will be remembered for doing good things.

Some things not to do..............

Don't ask to be made an Agent, it's never going to happen that way!!, other Agents and Mods will soon recognize a good Chobot and your name will be put forward as a possibility.
Don't ask for rain at parties, it's really annoying to Mods and Agents.
Don't break the Chobot rules.
Don't ask to be recommended, you will annoy the Agent you ask and be remembered for this.
Don't threaten to quit as soon as things don't go your way, Agents aren't quitters they're made of stronger stuff, that's why they have been awarded a badge, nothing is worse than to keep hearing the words "It's not fair".
Don't break the Chobot rules, if you can't follow the rules yourself then you can't expect to be made an Agent.

How to upload pictures with Tinypic

Hey Guys

I know a lot of you know this already but I also know some are just learning about these things and a lot of the competitions we have require you to comment your pictures in link form.
So here is how

First go to http://tinypic.com/

Find the picture on your PC where you saved it by clicking Browse
Get in the habit of saving things in the same place, ie your pictures

Once you have located your picture click the Upload Now button
You will then see this screen

Now, just highlight this link that says Direct Link for Layouts and then right click your mouse and select copy, you now have the link to your picture copied to your mouse, now you can paste this link wherever you want You do not have to join Tinypic or anything to do this.
